PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI)

Naples Therapeutic Riding Center in Naples, FL is seeking Full-Time Therapeutic Riding
Instructor to teach children and adults in individual and group Equine Therapy lessons.

Candidate Must:

  • Be PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI).
  • Be an effective communicator and team leader.
  • Be available to work weekdays and weekends.
  • Be a self-starter and able to step into a working system seamlessly.
  • Be capable of lesson planning and execution with the ability to incorporate grooming and tacking.
  • Be a keen observer and knowledgeable of equine behavior

Development Assistant

Job Title: Development Assistant
Reports To: Development Director
Employment Type: Part-Time (15-20 hours/week)
Compensation: $25/hour

Position Summary:
NTRC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Development Assistant to support our Development Department. This role involves donor gift entry, assisting with special event setup, and providing administrative support to enhance the organization’s fundraising and outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Donor Gift Entry and Management
-Accurately record and process donor gifts in the donor database.
-Generate acknowledgment letters and tax receipts promptly.
-Maintain donor records and ensure data integrity.

2. Special Events Support
-Assist in the logistical setup and breakdown of special events.
-Coordinate with vendors, staff, and volunteers for event execution.
-Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth operations.

3. Administrative Support for Development Department
-Assist with donor correspondence, mailings, and outreach initiatives.
-Help prepare materials for meetings, presentations, and events.
-Support fundraising campaigns and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:
 Previous experience in non-profit development, fundraising, or a related field is preferred.
 Proficiency with donor database software (e.g., Donorview, DonorPerfect, Raiser’s Edge) or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
 Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 Ability to work collaboratively and handle multiple tasks effectively.
 Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends for events.

Physical Requirements:
 Ability to lift and move event materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
 Comfortable working in an environment that includes horses.
