Announcing the Addition of the “Giddy Up Library” Sponsored by Kellogg Family Foundation
Naples, FL – October 24, 2024 – Naples Therapeutic Riding Center (NTRC) announces the
opening of the “Giddy Up Library,” inside of the “Kellogg Family Foundation Family Learning
Center.” This new educational space, made possible by the generous support of the Kellogg
Family Foundation, is designed to enhance the learning environment for riders, their families,
and the wider NTRC community.
The Giddy Up Library offers an inviting area to be filled with educational materials, creating a
welcoming environment where individuals can read, learn, or relax between therapeutic
sessions on NTRC’s campus. The Giddy Up Library is located next to the main arena and
features a quiet, temperature-controlled space with desks and comfortable seating, perfect for
focused learning and discovery.
The library will serve as a valuable resource for individuals providing a quiet space to complete
schoolwork or engage in educational activities, supporting the needs of program participants
and attendees while promoting a love of learning. Looking ahead, the Giddy Up Library will host
literacy programs and provide resources for Speech Therapy sessions, furthering NTRC’s
commitment to promoting educational growth and development for individuals of all ages
through equine-assisted activities.
This expansion reflects NTRC’s values to provide a therapeutic, inclusive experience for
everyone who experiences the center’s campus alongside continuing The Kellogg Family
Foundation’s support of education.
